March 7, 2010 Knight Rider LED
Headed out to Classic Industries to pick up the LED tail light conversion kit for the 67. After rewiring the car with a Ron Francis harness and fuse block, started to really notice some of the old sockets were really showing age like 40 + years age. So I figured why not upgrade the tail lights and add some more newer technology to the old school ride.
I wouldn’t have thought of seeing this book at Classic Industries… But that’s a good look for the whole scene.
Here is what the LED conversion looks like.
Here is one of the 40 + year old sockets that completely fell apart while I was just taking it out. But really they have lasted this long can’t really complain.
These are way brighter than the OG bulbs!!! Installation was super easy, and the pay off is total worth it to me.
