March 23, 2010 Tried Something Different
I’ve been on a super mad hops beer kick for the past several months. So I decided to switch it up a bit and grab this. A fruit ale and it’s exactly what it sounds like. It smelled just like a strawberry soft drink, and had a sweet flavor not what I expected. I recommend it to anyone wanting to change things up a bit. Or for those of you who don’t like beer usually. John, this is in my top 5 favorite beers. Im not a big fruit beer fan or a organic man but this brew has the right amount of sweetness for a fruit beer. When i first had it I though it was going to be tart as shit. You have to try their Oatmeal Stout and their IPA. Love Samuel Smiths!
